Rantotek is an experienced Finnish design engineering company specialized in designing boilers using multiple solid fuels, such as Fluidised Bed Combustion (FBC) or Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) boilers. Rantotek is the right design partner for your bio energy project from preliminary studies and dimensioning calculations to commissioning of the plant. Our proposed way to carry out the projects with you is EPCM in which Rantotek will do the Engineering design, Procurement assistance and Construction Management including start-up supervision. For feasibility studies we may apply financing support from the Finnish Government.

Rantotek has recently implemented two projects on EPCM basis in Asia:

Hat Yai 7 MW power plant project based on Municpal Waste combustion in Thailand. The purpose of the project was to ease the load of the Hat Yai City dumping area and produce electricity. Hat Yai is the 4th largest city in Thailand with about 800.000 people living in and around the city.

Shandong Sun Paper Co’s Bubbling Fluidised Bed (BFB) boiler project using wood waste, sludge from effluent treatment and other mill waste as a fuel. The steam capacity of the boiler is 30 kg/s.
